We wrapped up the season with an unforgettable Mechanics and Members Day, welcoming a variety of different classes out on the track for a final hit-out before the break. The day brought a great atmosphere, with plenty of action, laughter, and the unmistakable smell of race fuel in the air.
What made this event especially memorable was seeing some of our dedicated crew members take the wheel for the first time. After a year of working tirelessly behind the scenes, they finally had their chance to suit up and experience the thrill from the driver’s seat. Their excitement was infectious — a well-deserved reward for a season of hard work and commitment.
It was also a valuable opportunity for next season’s drivers to get some early seat time. With the track open for test laps, we saw some promising runs from a range of classes, including Wingless Sprints, Formula 500s, Junior 500s, and a few determined Kart drivers. Whether shaking down the cars or simply getting familiar with the track, the day served as the perfect warm-up for what’s shaping up to be an exciting season ahead.
Events like these not only celebrate our current community but also help build the future of our sport. We can’t wait to see what these new and returning drivers bring to the track next season.
